By using Accent, you agree to these terms.

The service

Accent provides AI-assisted English pronunciation practice, progress tracking and an optional MCP connection for compatible assistants. The feedback is educational and may be incomplete or wrong. It is not a clinical speech assessment or a guarantee of language proficiency.

Your account and use

You are responsible for activity through your account and for keeping your devices and API credentials secure. Do not automate account creation, bypass usage limits, interfere with the service or use Accent unlawfully.

Voice and third-party services

Live voice sends audio to OpenAI. Apple, Google, Supabase, Vercel and Cloudflare may also process data needed for sign-in, hosting, storage and abuse prevention. Your use of those services may be subject to their terms.

Included minutes and API costs

Free voice minutes are limited, may be unavailable and have no cash value. When you use your own OpenAI API key, OpenAI charges belong to your OpenAI account.

App Store subscriptions

When available, paid plans offer monthly or annual billing. The purchase screen shows the total price and billing period before Apple asks you to confirm. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through Apple’s subscription settings. Canceling stops future renewals; access continues through the paid period unless the purchase is refunded or revoked. Deleting your Accent account does not cancel your subscription.

Voice allowances reset monthly, including for annual subscriptions, and unused minutes do not roll over. Your current allowance and next reset appear in the app. Restoring a purchase restores its remaining allowance and does not create additional minutes. Use the same Apple-linked Accent account to restore access. Refund requests are handled through Apple, subject to applicable consumer rights.

Availability

Accent is provided as available. We may change, suspend or discontinue features to maintain security, reliability or a focused product.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, Accent is not liable for indirect losses, decisions based on AI feedback or charges caused by your own API account. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
